Hon. Abiodun Sylvester hails from Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu-North Local Government. He is married with children.
He attended St. Lukes' Ang. Primary School and St. Vincent Catholic Secondary School for his primary and secondary education. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons.) degree in Regional Planning from Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University. He has his Masters degree in Transportation Planning (M.Sc. Transport Planning).
He is a devoted christian, happily married with children, loves meeting people, traveling and reading.
