Born as a prince on the 31st of December, 1978 at Lagos state general hospital to the Royal family of Oba Sikiru A. Bello and Olori G. A Bello in the Royal Linage of the Legunsen of Ilupeju, Sagamu, Ogun state. Damilare Mohammed Bello grew up in somolu-Lagos with lustre affection for politics and community engagements. He is the PDP candidate for Sagamu 1 State Constituency in the 2023 general election and to the glory of God after his political sagacity, the wonderful people of Sagamu 1Constituency specifically voted for Omooba Oluwadamilare Mohammed Bello Dre as member Elect House of Assembly Sagamu 1 Constituency. Omooba Damilare Bello Dre is blessed with wife and lovely children. ACADEMIC PURSUITS He attended Wesley Memorial Primary School, Shomolu Lagos, after which he proceeded to Government College Ketu, Epe Lagos and completed his senior secondary school at Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu, Ogun State. He gained admission to Kwara State Polytechnic, llorin and had his National Diploma in Accounting in 2003. He then proceeded to the prestigious University of llorin for a program in accounting (not completed) in 2004 due his pursuit for career in international football which he went abroad for greener pastures at the Greenwich School of Management and had his BSc. in Oil & Gas Management in 2017. He later proceeded to the University of West London and bagged his Post graduate Diploma in Mental Health Studies 2021 which him a profession register mental health Nurse in United Kingdom. He also obtained the following certificate courses; Certificate in Team leadership 2009, Certificate in Environmental Surveillance 2011 and Certificate in Energy Studies in 2013. SOCIAL AND POLITICAL JOURNEY: He embraced politics during the time of OGD's Gateway Front Foundation, and since then has been part of the great PDP political family till date. Before going abroad in 2004, he was one of the PDP polling agent and member of OGD youth. In 2011, he came back home to support his mentor, Honourable Ladi Adebutu in 2015 general elections. In the last Ogun state local govt election, he was the flag bearer of the People's Democratic Party. Being devotee to the grassroots and lover of his communities just as he embarked on his political career after 2021 Local Government election his team in collaboration with his foundation Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello Foundation (DMB), conceived grassroots football competition' which was tagged Omooba Damilare Bello Dre football competition which cut across all active football teams across Sagamu community, the competition has come to stay according to his political foundation. He supported community using his social engagement mechanism to bring the youth leaders and their led together for a common goal. Eg during Agemo festivals; street parties; based shows; award nights. He's well-known in the community in the area of peace making. He has won many awards as a peace ambassador in and outside Sagamu communities.

UK; Algalib Muslim Society Special Recognition Award 2018. - Special Recognition Award African Movement, 2017 Ogun State Best Diaspora Youth, 2020. -Award of honour 2022 One of the most humble, active and supportive with good impact in Remo land. He was one of the PDP House of Assembly aspirants in 2019 general elections. He was the PDP chairmanship candidate for 2021 LG election and now the PDP candidate and Ogun State House of Assembly for Sagamu State Constituency 1 member elected. COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ATTAINMENTS: He was the pioneer Secretary to Ado Youth Organization between 2000 and 2004. His achievements are among the following: construction of Ado bus stop grading of Ado road and construction of gutter and many others, solar lights and regular maintenance of Ado bus stop when necessary. He also served as the President Sagamu Youth Union UK between 2016 and 2021 he contributed enormously to the community using his office being the president his contributions are constant visit to less privileged people from UK, distribution of school materials to primary school pupils, borehole, annual educational, environmental and health lecture to pupils; participating in all Sagamu community social events, supporting the community projects financially. He also served as the president of his secondary school old student associations METHSECO OLD STUDENT his Achievement was stand out; Refurbishment of 3 classrooms, annual educational lecture to students, examination preparation sessions for SSS 3. He is now the current Chairman Sagamu Development Forum Sport Committee. OMOOBA Damilare Bello as a Muslim and dedicated one who had been organizing Ramadan annual lectures for the past five years uninterrupted. He is also a lover of sport. He has played football for MUTAB Football Club of Sagamu 1998, represented Methodist Comprehensive College (all football activities), represented Ogun State (youth football competition) in 1999.
